Big Tie Twirl Skirt Pattern

This darling little skirt is sure to become a go-to item in your sweet girl’s wardrobe. Boutique-inspired twirl skirt with peek-a-boo hem and attached sash that can tie in the front or back.

Modern, simplicity combined with unique details makes this skirt special. A goes-with-everything style, try it with a ruffled tank and sandals or for another look partner it with capri leggings, a peasant top, and ballet flats. On chilly days, pair it up with tights, boots, and a cardi.

Design features include at-the-knee length, flat front, and multiple rows of narrow elastic in the back which give the look of shirring. Quite full skirt offers the extra twirl-factor little girls love so much. Make it with 2 fabrics as shown on the pic, or up to 4 of your faves.

Like most of our patterns, the design was created with the intent of a finished item that will get 2-4 years of wear.  Suitable for advanced beginners.

The skirt pattern pieces are all rectangles easily cut with a ruler and rotary cutter or scissors, so no paper pattern pieces are required. This tutorial-style pattern is a PDF file with 40+ color photos and step-by-step detailed instructions. Includes separate sizing for toddlers 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, and girls sizes 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 for a total of 9 sizes in one tutorial pattern.
